- Stephen and Anna left a will, I?m pretty sure. I had a chance to spend a day in the Harnett County NC CH in July of 2009. The area where the family lived fell into Harnett County when the new county was formed in 1853. Unfortunately, the CH in Lillington burned in 1895 and again two or so years later. I know that William Blalock, the senior Blalock of the family left one that burned because his second wife sold some property and the deed survived the fire?wasn?t filed until afterwards?although it was dated in the 1880s. I saw a hint at a Senter will while I was there.
