Comments from Rosaria Sinisi: My sister Maia was a social worker at the Perkins Institute for the Blind; she was also probably the youngest documented case of breast cancer in this country for quite a while (she contracted it at 18, was misdiagnosed, wasn't properly diagnosed for two more years, during which time the cancer metastasized (medical care in Binghamton NY leaves a lot to be desired), and fought it till her death...she got a graduate degree in social work at Boston University and worked till a couple months before she died.
