DIED: THOMAS - At the home in the Waldo Hills today, Monday, September 6, 1909, at the age of 73 years, James R. Thomas
James R. Thomas has been a resident of Oregon for the past 20 years. He leaves three daughters and three sons to mourn his death. They are Mrs. Nora Givens, of Silverton; Mrs. Alice Brown, of Seattle; Mrs. Ella Stallaker, of Marquette, Neb.; W. A. Thomas of Cour d'Alene; J. A. Thomas of Turner; and I. E. Thomas of Marion.
The funeral will be held tomorrow under the auspices of the G. A. R., of which he was a member."
