Andrew Deal (1801-1850), Probate of Estate (No will) 1 of 7

In order to sell the land with a clear title, it was necessary for the administrator of the estate to establish via the lawsuit that the immediate heirs, Andrew Deal's widow and children, henceforth had no legal interest in the property.

Andrew Jackson Thomas (1840-1914) Death certificate

There are a number of questions relating to the informant's report, probably because the second "Mrs. A.J. Jackson" was not familiar with the details:

Year of birth: 1840 or 1839?

Name of father: Henry or George or both?

Birthplace of father: Ireland or Kentucky?

Surname of mother: Bohannon or Buchanan?
